The BioSupply Facility provides biological research supply services and stock room capabilities. The mission of the facility is to simplify research supply ordering and receiving. In addition to maintaining a constant stock of commonly utilized consumables, the facility works with a wide variety of vendors to provide a cost savings to faculty on equipment and reagents.

Supply Center Program

Reagents, consumables, small instrument and accessories can be purchased through the BioSupply Program. Oligo DNA primers can be ordered through the program as well.

Package Services

The BioSupply facility provides package receiving and delivery services for the Torrey Life Sciences, Biology/Physics and Pharmacy Buildings.

Lab Coat Cleaning

The BioSupply facility offers a Lab Coat cleaning service to university students and faculty.

X-Ray Irradiator

The X-Rad 320 Precision X-Ray system is located in the Pharmacy Biology Building.

From cells to small animals, the X-Rad 320 delivers a precise radiation dose to specimens. The OptiMAX imaging module allows for quick changes between imaging modalities and precise co-registration of images. Key Features: Highest throughput for Whole Body Irradiation, planetary turntable and motorized shelf allows up to 33 mice per cycle, full screen, real-time specimen viewing, integrated filter recognition, and replacement of choice for 137 Cesium gamma irradiators.
